The Center for Security, Strategy and Policy Research(CSSPR) launched the CSSPR Nuclear Scholars Initiative in 2021, with a view to providing a platform to young, inquisitive minds studying and working in the fields relating to strategy, defense, foreign policy, and national security, among others, to learn from, and interact with, some of the top-notch academicians, policymakers, and thought leaders from around the world. Under the auspices of the Initiative, two iterations of the Fellowship have been organized in 2021. The first and second Fellowships entitled ‘Nuclear South Asia’ and ‘National Security and Foreign Policy’, respectively, enabled 40 students and young professionals to engage and interact with 33 experts from the academia, think tank community, and the government.
