It is a pleasure to invite you to the International Conference On Threats To Security In The 21st Century: Finding A Global Way Forward to be held in Lahore on May 5-6, 2018 organized by the School of Integrated Social Sciences, University of Lahore. The speakers will deliberate on the increasing threats and challenges to security through the framework of national, regional and international security in the 21st century. Contemporary security has transcended traditional disciplinary boundaries. Lines between traditional and non-traditional security are being blurred challenging scholars to adopt multidisciplinary methodological approaches to understand the rapidly changing nature of threats to security. Keeping that in mind, this conference seeks to define security broadly to allow for a productive exchange of ideas on threats and challenges to security in the 21st century to find a way forward that is common to all of us irrespective of borders. We invite abstracts for panels and individual papers related to the following themes:

Deadline for Abstract Submission: March 5, 2018.
Announcement of Abstract Acceptance: March 15, 2018
Deadline for Paper submission: April 15, 2018
Early Registration Starts on: April 16, 2018
Registration/participation will be cancelled in case of no paper submission.
On-site Registration: May 5-6, 2018

Abstract Guidelines & Information
The abstracts will undergo blind peer-review process. Once accepted, notifications will be sent.
- Maximum 250 words.
- Be concise. Identify your theme correctly.
- Please add your brief biography in the abstract document.
- If your abstract is accepted, you will be invited to register for the International Conference on Threats to Security in the 21st At least one of the authors of the paper must register and pay the registration fees for the conference by 20th April 2018 to be included in to the final program.

Foreign Delegates US$ 100
- You will receive a confirmation receipt upon payment of the registration fee. Please note that a single registration permits only one person to attend the conference. Registered participants who have submitted papers will be provided accommodation and meals for the conference.
